Sarah Montgomery

Meet Sarah

Sarah was born and raised in Shepparton and is deeply connected to the Goulburn Valley community. A graduate of La Trobe University Bendigo, where she completed a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Criminology, Sarah is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia.

Sarah practises exclusively in Family Law, representing clients across regional Victoria including Shepparton, Echuca, Geelong, Bendigo, Cobram, Mansfield and Melbourne. She has extensive experience in parenting, property and intervention order matters, acting in both private and legally aided cases. A regular court advocate, Sarah ensures her clients’ voices are heard and their experiences genuinely understood.

Grounded in a strong belief in fairness and access to justice, Sarah is particularly passionate about supporting vulnerable individuals and families impacted by family violence and complex barriers. She combines practical advice with compassionate guidance, delivering strong advocacy while remaining deeply mindful of the human realities behind every matter.
