Our Fixed Fee Divorce service deals with your divorce application only and does not include parenting or property matters. Eligibility criteria apply, so please check the requirements below to make sure this service is right for you.
Is our Fixed Fee Divorce service right for you?
Our Fixed Fee Divorce service is designed for straightforward divorce applications. To see whether your matter is likely to fall within the fixed fee, ask yourself:
Have you been married for at least two years?
Have you been separated and living at separate addresses continuously for at least 12 months?
If you have children under 18, are clear care arrangements in place?
Are you and your spouse Australian citizens?
Is your Marriage Certificate in English?
Do you know where your spouse lives and/or works?
If you answered YES to all of the above, your divorce is likely to fall within our Fixed Fee Divorce service.
If you answered NO to any of the above, we can still help. Your application may simply require some additional steps, documents or work, which may involve additional costs.
Clear, upfront pricing.
Our professional and administrative fees: $1,075 including GST
Court filing fee: $1,125, or $375 for eligible concession cardholders
Total: $2,200 ($1,450 with eligible concession)
When might there be additional costs?
Some divorce applications require a little more work. Additional costs may apply if we need to:
Obtain a copy of your Marriage Certificate
Arrange for your spouse to be formally served
Deal with difficulties serving your spouse
Prepare additional affidavits or supporting documents
Attend Court where an appearance is required
If we identify anything that may involve an additional cost, we'll discuss it with you before that work is undertaken.
